Dionisio from Chicago, IL receives the tournament winner's trophy plus $55.00 for
taking first place in the tournament.
John
Pestal from Omaha, NE receives the State Champion Trophy and $35.00 for being
the highest finishing Nebraska player and therefore declared the Nebraska State
3-Move Champion for 2009. this makes John's 6th State 3-Move Title.
In 2008 John won the Nebraska State Match Game Championship.
The
two Nebraska State Open Checkers Champions for 2009 and Dave Stovie the
Tournament Director and President of the Nebraska Checkers Association. I
am proud to have this be Nebraska's 111th year in a row for a State Checkers
Tournament.
